Information on Coronavirus (COVID)

Coronavirus (COVID) Warning

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other Guests, and Staff. You must follow all health and safety instructions while participating in any VTPhotoTours Workshops/Tours.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID exists in any place where people are present. COVID is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By participating you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID.

Information on Coronavirus Disease continues to evolve quickly and we are closely following guidance from health officials and other authorities.

We are currently offering Private Workshops In-Person or Online (or by phone) most weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

All our in-person workshops/tours and classes have also resumed with social distancing and a few other safety measures (subject to change per government restrictions/guidance).

The health and safety of our Guests, as well as that of our team, is our primary focus. We are taking precautionary steps and have implemented the following policies, which will likely continue to evolve as more information becomes available:

  • If you have access to a vehicle, you should use it and follow us to each stop. We will lend you a clean/sanitized two-way radio so you won’t miss out on any of our commentary, instructions, tips, etc. You may also use it to ask questions between stops. If you don’t have access to a vehicle, you may ride in ours, but all the windows must be left open regardless of the weather conditions.
  • If riding in our vehicle and indoors, all Participants must bring and wear a face mask that covers their mouth and nose at all times. All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
    • Be made with at least two layers of breathable material
    • Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin
    • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
    • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the Guest to remain hands-free.
  • Based on guidance from health authorities: neck gaiters, open-chin coverings, or triangle bandanas, and any covering with holes, perforations, exhalation valves, or exhalation ports do not stop the spread of the virus and are not acceptable face coverings indoors or in our vehicles. Use of these or no face coverings outdoors requires a minimum of 6-foot (2-meter) space to be maintained from all others at all times.
  • Face coverings are not a substitute for physical distancing. A minimum of 6-foot (2-meter) space must be maintained from others at all times.
  • Following CDC and VOSHA guidelines and recommended procedures, we will clean and ozone sanitize our vehicles and all surfaces, door handles, vests, gear, etc between each workshop. A 10% COVID/Service Fee will be added to all services to help recover the additional time and costs associated with this.
  • By participating in any workshop/class, you are confirming that you and all persons in your party (and anyone you or they have been in contact within 14 days):
    • have not experienced any of the following symptoms of COVID identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including but not limited to:
      • Fever or chills
      • Cough
      • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
      • Fatigue
      • Muscle or body aches
      • Headache
      • New loss of taste or smell
      • Sore throat
      • Congestion or runny nose
      • Nausea or vomiting
      • Diarrhea
    • have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID symptoms without completing a 14-day quarantine
    • are not under any self-quarantine orders
  • Anyone who feels unwell, or has exhibited any of the above symptoms within 14 days will not be permitted.
  • In the event a Workshop/Tour needs to be rescheduled due to COVID or government restrictions you may apply your payment to another available date. Client is responsible for any price differences and all reschedule/change requests are subject to availability.
