December 19-20, 2009 we are holding a Black & White Photography Winter Workshop.
The workshop will be based in Stowe, Vermont and you’ll be taken on a private back-road tour of central Vermont to photograph some gorgeous landscapes, barns and farm scenes, and frozen waterfalls.
You’ll be introduced to the principals of Black and White photography, Black and White composition techniques, how to look for interesting subjects to photograph in Black and White, and how to create professional quality Black and White images from your color photographs.
The workshop is limited to 3 persons to ensure everyone has opportunities for personal instruction and has ample time to make photographs.
Prerequisites and what to bring:
Knowledge of basic photography and a basic knowledge of Apple Aperture, Adobe Lightroom, or Adobe Photoshop is required to attend this workshop. It is strongly recommended that participants bring a Digital SLR camera and a laptop capable of running Silver Efex Pro and Apple Aperture, Adobe Lightroom, or Adobe Photoshop to get the most out of this workshop. Meals and Transportation:
We will carpool during the workshop but meals, lodging, and transportation to the Workshop is not included.
Fee:
$499 per person.
The Booking Fee is 50% of the total fee and is due 30 days prior to the Workshop. If you should cancel after that time, the Booking Fee will be forfeit and the remainder will be refunded only if we are able to fill the spot from the Workshop’s waiting list. The balance is due 14 days prior to Workshop’s start date.
